Andrija Anković
Andrija Anković (Gabela, July 16, 1937 – Split, April 28, 1980) was a Croatian footballer and coach. He played as a forward.

In Gabela, a memorial tournament named after Andrija Anković is held every year in his honor.

Anković began his career at GOŠK from Gabela. He then continued his career at Neretva from Metković, where he played from 1955 to 1957. In 1958, he moved to Hajduk from Split. He made his debut on October 9, 1958, in the semifinal match of the Marshal Tito Cup 1957/58, where Velež Mostar eliminated Hajduk 3:0. He played 326 matches for Hajduk and scored 250 goals, thus becoming one of the club's legendary players.

After he met the conditions for leaving and playing abroad, he went to then SR Germany in Kaiserslautern, where he played for three seasons from 1966 to 1969.

International career
For Yugoslavia, he played 8 matches and scored 1 goal from 1960 to 1962. He was a member of the Yugoslav team that won the gold medal at the 1960 Olympics in Rome. He participated in the 1962 World Cup in Chile, where he played 1 match (Yugoslavia – Colombia 5:0).
Coaching career

He managed the German club Landstuhl for one season, and then he managed Omiš (1969 – 1970). From 1971 to 1978, he worked in Hajduk's youth academy, and then he was an instructor for the football association of the Dalmatian region (1978 – 1980).
